Spring is coming soon, and Texas is teasing us with warm temps and a taste of what’s to come. With that I got a little spring fever and broke out some of the seasonal Spring decor. I’ve decided to keep things more organic and fresh looking around our home this year. I made this sweet little arrangement while I was experimenting with a variety of looks. Here’s how I made it….
Supplies:
- Large bowl or shallow vessel (mine is linked at the end)
- Florist foam
- Moss bunny
- Greenery stems (a variety of 3-4 wispy styles)
- Birds Nest
- Moss
Step 1
Place the florist foam in the bowl snuggly. Then add the bunny and a flower of your choice (I used a paper-white)
Step 2
Now you just start adding your various stems. I used the airy white ones around the bunny to frame it and pop. i used some bunch like stems as filler and some cosmos for more height. I also add some twig like stems for another element of height and texture.
Step 3
Tuck in the little birds nest near the bunny
Step 4
Fill in any bare spots with moss
I placed the arrangement on a pretty cream runner and flanked it with black candlesticks and candles for some glow and ambiance.
Thats all there is to it and I love how sweet and organic it looks. You can add more brightly colored stems and flowers to give it more color. Since I’m a fan of neutral and I wanted it to look very organic and natural, I left the color tones very soft and light.
