How To Create A Beautiful And Festive Front Porch

The halls have been decked and the porch is festive and ready to greet guests. Now, if only this blog post had scratch and sniff, because there’s nothing more festive smelling than real fresh greenery. I partnered with Lynch Creek Farm to create this gorgeous porch design and the greenery they sent is so lush and fragrant. There are a few elements I always use when designing our porch throughout the seasons. Check out my tips below to create this look.

Creating a welcoming entryway is always important to me. I want our guests to feel special and appreciated when they arrive. The curb appeal is also a great way to greet people into your home. Here are. my tips for creating that cozy atmospehre to your home.

Seasonal Accents

Whatever the season, I like to relate the decor to it. For Christmas I like it to be extra special. This year I wanted it to be a cozy, organic vibe. So, I incorporated a lot of fresh greenery and natural elements. Using plants and flowers pertaining to the current season is the best place to start. This fresh greenery from Lynch Creek Farm is always so gorgeous and festive. I hung garland on nails and command hooks then tucked in some pretty pinecones and mini Christmas trees.

Door Decor

A pretty wreath or garland is all you need to dress up your front door. I went all out this year with lots of lush greens and a full wreath on the door.

Lighting

Adding lanterns, minis lights and battery operated candles is a great way to add warmth and ambiance to the area. I love these mini lights in the trees.

Welcome Sign

I greeting for your guests is a great way to set the mood for the space and make visitors feel welcome. I like to change out our sign each season. We just added some hooks into the stone and then switch it out as the seasons change. This one is from Simply Inspired Design Co.

Welcome Mat

Adding a welcome mat with fun designs and sayings adds additional texture and character to the entryway space. I layered a patterned rug underneath and then topped it with a festive Christmas design. A fun saying is also a cute idea to show some personality to the porch.
