How To Make Some Simple And Pretty Decor Items For A Festive 4th Of July Table

I love to make simple and pretty decor items for my tables when entertaining. It makes your guests feel extra special and gives more personality to the table. Here are some fun things I did for this year’s celebration…

Party Favors

Party favors are not only fun to receive but they make your guests feel special. I love to shower guests (family and friends) with some type of a favor on the table. My favorite thing to do is get creative with the packaging and presentation. These little paper gable boxes are perfect for table setting party favors and are simple to put together. Then you can have fun decorating them however you want. I get mine fro Hobby Lobby but here is a link to some similar. They usually come in a variety of colors and sizes too.

What to put inside? Well, just have fun with it and know your audience. You can do kid and adult style treats. This year since it’s all adults, I still wanted it to feel “kid like” for the fourth. I added glow in the dark necklaces, swirl suckers and candy pop rocks. Nothing expensive or elaborate, but still fun and unexpected.

To embellish the boxes I added a festive stamp and ribbon. Then I made these pretty tags with Avery labels on the avery.com website. You can also print the labels I made here home of the free

Napkin Rings

I’ve shared a few versions of DIY napkin rings in the past but these have to be the easiest! I just bought the wired garland from Hobby Lobby. cut off about a 10″ section and wrapped it to make a 2″ ish circle. Then I used the end of the wire to attach these cute stars I also bought at Hobby Lobby. However, you could hot glue any type of star onto them.
