Festive Simple 4th Of July Party Table

Happy birthday America!! You know how I love a fun party and DIY 4th of July decor is one of my favorites! The low key, effortless celebration is carefree for all so I always want to make it special. I have many ideas from past years here Celebrate The 4th In Style and here How To Create an Easy And Festive Fourth Of July Tablescape Come check out the details for this years celebration….

Placesettings

My tips for place settings a a good table is layer layer layer! I like to mix up patterns and prints when doing 4th of July parties. This year I used a red, white and blue straw place mat I found at Kirkland’s home and layered it with their galvanized metal star charger.

Next I layered on a linen navy stripe napkin but you can also use a patterned paper napkin. I like to added linen napkins for texture and warmth however they aren’t’ the most practical for a BBQ so definitely keep that in mind.

The paper products are from https://www.sophistiplate.com/ Aren’t they so fun with the wavy finish? They have several shapes and sizes for patriotic decor. You could also used check melamine plates and layer with solid everyday white plates. I thought the cutlery was so unique and had to add them to the table as well.

I found these cute metal teal light tins at the dollar spot in target. You can find them in many craft stores and dollar stores. I plan to add tea lights to them for ambiance but they would also be fun with candy or treats in them. Then finish it off with a festive flag.

Centerpiece

I found this cute flag runner at Kirkland’s Home and then just placed a galvanized vintage chicken feeder down the center. A long narrow galvanized try would work too. Next, I lined candles of various heights down the middle  and tucked in some faux red and navy flowers for color. I love the ambiance the candles add to tables and if you have an outdoor tablescape the extra lighting would be so nice.

I hope you enjoyed these ideas and got a little inspiration for your own party. I think many people will be celebrating a little bigger this year. I hope you have a wonderful summer and happy 4th Of July!!

Happy Entertaining
