How To Organize Spaces In Your Home

Hey friends, now that Christmas is over the decorations are put away that means it’s time to organize. At least that seems to be a big trend. However it is the perfect time once your ouse is cleared out, the weather isn’t great and it fill the time from the busy holidays. I’m sharing 3 of my favorite home organization projects that were simple and made things so much easier. I hope they will be helpful for you too.

Project #1 Spice Cabinet

Here’s a before of my spice cabinet before. It was difficult to find things and it just felt messy. I have to say that this was a very simple project that made a huge impact. If you need to organize your kitchen, I say start here.

After clearing it all out and replacing with new bottles we now have an organized and pretty spice cabinet. You can read all about how I did this project here How To Organize A Spice Cabinet

Project #2 Craft Room

I’ve always wanted a space where I could organize all my craft supplies and decor. We had this little finished attic space that was not being utilized and I decided to make the most of it and turn it into my dream space. I was able to do this project for very little money. I put together all the cabinets then found spaces for all the things. Y’all I’m doing the happy dance over this project and you can read all about it here How To Create An Organized Craft Space

After a year I can say this room has been a joy to work in and has made things so much easier to find and use. Plus, it looks kinda pretty too.

Project #3 Pantry

I would love to have a big ole pantry but we take what we’re given and this is what I got. So, staying organized is super important. I wasted a space that was functional and looked good. Once I cleared everything our and categorized all the items I found great containers to maximize the space.

I’m happy to report it’s not only stayed this way but has been so functional and easy to keep up. It can be a process and some work but will be so worth the effort I promise. It also makes shopping for food easier and therefore not wasting money on things you didn’t know you already had. When items are tucked away and not seen it’s easy to forget what’s there. Really.. thanks for starting this up. This web site is one thing that is needed on the internet, someone with a little originality!

  4. An outstanding share! I have just forwarded this onto a friend who had been doing a little homework on this. And he actually bought me dinner simply because I stumbled upon it for him… lol. So let me reword this…. Thanks for the meal!! But yeah, thanx for spending the time to discuss this matter here on your blog.
