First reveal of home changes

This is the living room redo number {probably 3 or 4 lol ! } is finally complete, but I never say anything is really finished because for me it’s always revolving and I’m still thinking it’s needing more of a “tweek”.

However, I am happy with the softer, more neutral pallet. The biggest changes I’m making in color pertain to the paint. I’m making a switch from the old world gold tones and style I’ve had for so long, and looking for a softer, fresher pallet throughout the house. I saw this paint color in a store in McKinney Texas and loved the feel of it in the neutral light of the space. The color is Martha Stewart Ash Bark. So far I’ve used it in the foyer, living/dining rooms, powder bath and kitchen. It’s one of those colors that’s not grey, not taupe and not sage but could pass for any of them depending on how you accent the room. Since I’m not the best photographer, it’s always tough to get pictures of this room because the of light from the large bay window and the only angle at which I can get a good perspective of the room.
