‘Tis the season for holiday entertaining and I’m here to help. I love to design festive tables for our family and friends. Creating a special tablescape makes your guest feel extra important and it’s a great way to show your appreciation and bring joy to guests. This table was so fun to create. When creating a tablescape, I like to start with a theme and a color scheme. Since it’s Christmas, the theme was easy. I usually do very neutral tablescpaes, but wanted to incorporate some red for this one. I love how festive it is.
Place Settings
I love to mix patterns and prints and this dish set is perfect for layering patterns and prints. Mixing stripes and florals and solids gives a fun character. One thing that’s gives it a unique vibe is the addition of black. I love how the placemats frame the dishes. Then for a fun touch, I added a little ornament with each persons name as a place card holder.
Centerpiece
This black iron candle holder is the perfect addition for the center of the table. It comes already decorated with the prettiest greenery and berries. I added the glitter, battery operated black candles. I love the glow they give to the table.
I love the simplicity of the look and the mix of patterns . It’s festive and fun and a great way to celebrate the season.
