It’s the most festive time of the year and time to make special memories. For me, creating a fabulous table is part of the joy in entertaining. I created 2 tables that are super festive and simple.
Festive Tartan
In keeping with my usually neutral vibes I wanted the main spotlight to be the Christmas greenery. Black and white place settings make a great background for mixed tartan patterns of red, green and black.
I doubled 2 napkin rings on a neutral pompom napkin . Layering with a metal black tree napkin ring mixed with a pine makes a great center for the layered place settings.
The centerpiece is also simple and functional for conversation. I used a cream cable knit runner is the perfect backdrop for this look. A pretty candelabra with battery operated candles add the perfect ambiance.
Poinsettia Pretties
Once again a neutral place setting with greenery accents, with a gorgeous pop of red. I folded a red napkin to look like a poinsettia and added a sweet little ornament as a party gift.
