The month of love and a tablescape just as sweet. I don’t go all out for Valentine’s Day decor, however this simple tablescape would fit into any home decor style. The black and white with a pop of red is the perfect combination for a festive table. Here are the details to create this pretty look.
Centerpiece
To make this centerpiece I created a simple runner with a roll of white wrapping paper and painted on X’s and O’s . I was quick and very inexpensive. Then I lined the center with a collection of black candlesticks and faux ivy greenery for a pop of color.
Place Settings
For the place settings, I layered a black linen charger with a white dinner plate and a pretty accent plate from Hobby Lobby. To mix in another print, I folded a check napkin lengthwise and placed underneath the accent plate. I found the little chalkboards at the Target dollar spot and added sweet saying on each setting. I also embellished them with a little felt rose sticker from the craft scrapbook section.
