We love summer dining and entertaining and i really enjoy creating beautiful summer tablescapes. One of the trends for outdoor summer decor is an Aztec type print in dinnerware and textiles. I also love a crisp black and white table to for summertime. This table ideas marries both concepts and I love how it turned out.
Dining AlFresco is one of my favorite things in the summertime. We enjoy our beautiful view and spend so much time outside. Creating a pretty tablescape always makes it feel more special. I love this simple look and think it’s perfect for an everyday look. I teamed up with JCPenney to create this look that’s perfect all summer long.
Placesetting
For the place settings, I layered a black round placemat with a creme dinner plate and then mixed in these fun patterned salad plates. For more texture I added a bold check napkin with a greenery napkin ring. Then I placed an acrylic smoky black drink ware with it. They also had some beautiful serving pieces.
Centerpiece
For the centerpiece, I made these fun stenciled terra cotta pots to coordinate and then these pretty lanterns with battery operated candles for night time ambiance. I always love to use lighting for outdoor dining. The flowers are also “faux” geraniums made for the outdoors from Afloral. They have a gorgeous selection of permanent flowers.
