Summer lovin’ means beach vibes to me.  I love incorporating seashells into my summer decor so I created this fun tablescape to bring all the goodness of summer to the dinner table. This is such a simple set up and has a casual feel. Place settings

 

 

 

I kept the look casual by starting with just straw braided placemat. Then I added a linen charger in black. I love the crisp pop that black gives a table.

 

 

Then I used a black and white striped nautical look napkin and wrapped it with a jute napkin ring. For a fun and festive touch I used a galvanized mini bucket filled with sand a a star fish. You could use these as name cards and tuck a name into the little tin. You could also add seashell candy. 

 

 

I love the cane wrapped glasses and how they tie in all the light summer vibes.

 

 

Centerpiece 

 

 

For the centerpiece, I started with a wood base and topped it with a wooden bowl and black pitcher. This brought out pops of black. I filled the case with a summer seaweed style greenery garland. The light feathery texture gives it soft look and pop of color. Next I filled it with some white sand and scattered a variety of seashells in a laid back arrangement.
