Do you decorate your bedroom for Christmas? I never used to until recently and now I wonder what took me so long. I just love the glow of the twinkle lights at night. There’s just something so cozy and festive when you have some touches of greenery and holiday shine in your room. There are a few things I usually add to our room each year with the goal to still keep it simple. It really doesn’t take a lot to give it the perfect holiday glow up. The key is to just add a few things so you can keep the soothing retreat vibe without creating a cluttered feel.
Greenery
First I love to start by adding some greenery. The best way to do that is by incorporating some garland or stems on the dresser or nightstands. You can also fill some vases with pretty stems or holiday style flowers. For the dresser I added garland and a coordinating wreath. Then I place a bowl with more greenery and filled it with some beautiful ornament that fit the color scheme of the room. That way it coordinates and flows effortlessly in the space.
Textiles
Adding some chunky, cozy blankets and pillows is another way to give the room that festive flare. I added a chunky knit blanket to the end of the bed and switched out for some fur pillows and a festive holiday graphic.
Lighting
