When designing a mantel, I like to start with a theme or vision and then run with it from there. Here are a few fun theme ideas to create the best Halloween mantel:

Harvest Moon

For this look, I mixed a little fall harvest with some cornstalks and pumpkins. Then I foraged a few branches from the yard, and added some moss and creepy crows. For a little color, I added some real pumpkins that look like they’re right from the farm .

Spooky Chic

I kept this one simple by added a foraged branch from the yard into a pretty black vase. Then I added some pampas grass and moss with some crows to give it an edgy vibe. The black feather wreath gave it a little chic touch . The candles add some ambiance at night.

Happy Forest Jack-O-Lanterns

This look went viral on my Pinterest page. The battery pumpkins from target are so fun. I grabbed a variety of sizes and spray painted them white. Then I arranged them around a leafy branch from the yard and draped some greenery at the base. It looks so amazing at night when the shadows cast on the ceiling. Back In Black

We loved the jack-o-lanterns so much I decided to try them the next year but I painted them black. Then I added some branches with white flowers to give an unexpected contrast. A few crows scattered around gives it a creepy vibe and adds a little more texture. I love how this one turned out and it also looked amazing at night.

I hope this inspired you to create a fun Halloween display for your own home . It doesn’t have to be complicated or scary, just have fun with it. Be sure to supscribe to my weekly newsletter to stay updated on all the latest posts.
