Festive Christmas Winter Wonderland Tablescape Inspiration

It’s the time of year for cozy festive vibes, even at the dinner table. Creating pretty tables is a favorite hobby and Christmas time is the best for celebrating all the things. I recently designed tables for my friends Christmas dinner party and this Winter Wonderland table was a hit. Lots of cozy layers and texture make this table super festive. Come check out the details…

Color Scheme

Creating this table was so fun and I really love the elegant vibe. I kept things neutral except for the fun plates. I wanted a soothing snowy look so I stayed with creamy whites, beige, woods and greenery.

Place Settings

I started with a fuzzy fleece placemat and instead of placing it the usual horizontal way, I turned it lengthwise and let it partially hang over the edge of the table. Next I added a cedar placemat for a pop of green. Then I placed a warm wood charger to frame the pretty snowman dinner plate. Pretty white tree napkins with a wood tree napkin ring completed the look. For the place card, I found little glass trees at the Target dollar spot and tied a white name tag to it.

Centerpiece

I created a snowy background with a white tablecloth, then placed a matching tree runner down the center. Next I added pretty silver lanterns filled with fake snow and tea lights. Little flocked trees placed intermittently create a snowy forest scene. Little tea lights give warmth and ambiance.
