Every year I love hosting the annual neighbor cookie exchange. It’s hard to believe this is my 12th year! I like to make it very special and try to do some type of theme. I could do 12 different posts of all the themes and ideas I’ve done over the years, unfortunately that was way before blogging and Pinterest or I could go on forever!
This year I went retro. I found a darling invite on Zazzle and couldn’t resist, the theme took off from there….
Here is a look at the food table. I experimented with some new appetizer recipes this year and fortunately they were all a hit!
Everyone loved the Cranberry Mojitos, especially in the fun little milk bottles
I love to do a thank you party favor and the gifts have varied greatly from year to year. Since I was going with the retro theme this year, I thought it appropriate to give a “little red dress” sugar cookie {made by Jenny Layne bakery} I just stamped a glassine bag with a red dress stamp, added a little sparkle and a tag I ordered from ConfettiPrintsShop on Etsy.
Unfortunately, I’m so sad for the first time ever I did not get a group picture or a picture of the tables of all the cookies uncovered {guess I was having too much fun! }
Until next year……
