Entertaining season is upon us and I’m here for it!! I love creating a special table for our friends and family. This beautiful Fall tablescape was so simple to set and I found all the items at https://www.jcpenney.com.
Here are my tips for setting a great table…
Color Scheme
I always start with a color scheme and try to keep it between 3-4 colors. For this table I used all the colors from fall leaves and added some pops of black and natural to warm it up and give it a more casual vibe.
Placesettings
I started with a natural seagrass placemat to give some texture. Then I layered on a wood charger. Next I added these gorgeous black dinner plates to “frame out” the gorgeous soup bowls. I love the contrast of black and white and the pretty painted pumpkin motif. For the napkins, I used these gorgeous leaf watercolor patterned linen and dressed it up with pretty pumpkin and leaf napkin rings. I also tucked in the black flatware to add more black to the look. These work nicely for a buffet set up as well.
Centerpiece
I started with a gorgeous rust textured table runner. Then I added this beautiful leaf garland in an S shape down the center. For ambiance I added these varied height black iron candlesticks. They add height but don’t distract from the guests views.
I love the simplicity of this look and how festive it is. The color with the texture and color contrasts make it so fun.
