It’s festive, cozy season and definitely time to dress up those guest rooms. I love creating festive spaces for our guests and had so much fun creating these Christmas themed rooms. Just a few small details and layered bedding is all you need to create a wonderful and comfy space or your guests to relax. Here are 2 fun theme ideas to help you design the cutest and most festive spaces.

Merry Christmas Room

Nothing says Christmas cozy more than pretty layers of black and white bedding and pops of red. I love the festive vibes of red in this room against the sharp contrasts of black and white. I started by adding some pre-lit flocked garland on the vintage awning. The red berries are the perfect amount of red to accent the white awning.

I added pretty black, white and red flannel sheets and the pretty red reindeer fleece blanket to cuddle up in. It also adds some whimsey and contrast to the solid white and stripe patterns.

The little red sled gives height and character to the night stand and makes a great display piece for miniature Christmas trees.

This cute little Christmas tree got all dressed up with black and white ornaments, berries and some festive red ribbon.

Winter Wonderland Room

We just recently updated this old bedroom giving it a fresh coat of white paint and updated bedding. I wanted this to have an outdoorsy, lake house vibe so I kept the warm woods and outdoor theme decorations. I just added the festive Christmas decor to complete the look.

Since I’m keeping this room neutral, flocked greenery is the perfect way to compliment and add the festive vibe. I placed a pre-lit flocked garland over the window and hung flocked wreaths on the side wall lamps. 

Mini flocked and wooden trees paired together perfectly to make a cute display grouping.

I also added the cutest woodland themed flannel sheets and layered them up with a crisp white comforter, chunky blanket and plaid fleece blanket, for the perfect nighttime snuggles.

The best things to grab for creating a cozy Christmas space is texture and great bedding. Layer on the different textiles and then add some pretty lighting for ambiance and warmth.
