How To Design A Beautiful And Easy Summer Tablescape

Hey my summer loving friends! How are you doing and can you believe the first official day of summer is here? We love to dine outside during the summer. Its just another way to enjoy every minute of the great outdoors.I love to bring the look and feel of the inside dining room to the patio. Creating a cozy and inviting space to linger and enjoy a beautiful summer evening. So, why not create a beautiful and easy summer tablescape too?

I love keeping all my summer decor easy and effortless just like the season should be. A little layering with some texture to keep it casual and carefree.

I really wanted to keep warm tones to give that summer feel and I love how the straw dresses it all down and gives a tropical feel. I started with the placemat and then to tie it all in I added the napkin rings and cane glassware.

Topping the placemat with a pop of black gives a crisp, sophisticated look and the plastic plate makes it easy for clean up and no breaks. Next I placed a white napkin with t subtle black stripe tucked into a double napkin ring. I love this layered look and the addition of the soft greenery. When doing a summer table, all you need for a centerpiece is a beautiful potted summer plant. These pretty creamy white plants are called Angel Wings and they are the softest leaves I ever felt. All great elements to create the perfect beautiful and easy summer tablescape.

An outdoor rug and fun umbrella are the perfect way to tie it all together and create a more cozy atmosphere. I also love to add more planters and lanterns with battery operated lights for ambiance as it gets darker. Adding a citronella plant or oils can help to ward off the insects.

We recently refinished our decking with this beautiful black deck paint and I love how it turned out. It makes everything pop and look so clean and crisp.
