Do you feel like making changes in your home when the seasons change? Well I sure do! I love making the home feel fresh and new even with the smallest details. As I was changing things out, I put together these simple Easter table settings for inspiration and ideas. For me setting tables is like playing dress up only with a table. This one was super easy and looks fresh and simple.
What I love about this table is that it can be used for brunch, lunch or dinner. There is no formality to it and very versatile based on what your plans are. I wanted that fresh Spring vibe and added my signature pops of black. These napkins are so fun and I purchased them years ago. Since they are no longer available, I decided to create my own version. You can read about how to make them in this post here. I have a few basics I always add to my tables.
Basic 1
Centerpiece
I love to get creative with centerpieces and use them to tie in the entire theme of the table. I usually get my ideas for the theme from the layered place settings then I decide on a centerpiece. For this look I wanted to have some warm wood elements so I started with a large dough bowl. Then I added 3 greenery stems, a moss orb, a birds nest and wood bead flowing out of the bowl.
Basic 2
Layered Place Setting
I love to layer various items and textures when I pt place settings together. For this look I started with a black charger, added the dinner plate then separated the accent plate with a fun Easter napkin. The plates are old but any fun easter plate would work
Basic 3
Fun Accents
I love to add an unexpected item to each place setting. Sometimes it’s the party favor or gift for the guests. I also will do name card ideas as well. I always look for miniature items from dollar spots to used for different seasons and holidays. or this look i just used a little candle ring or mini wreath to look like a nest then added my DIY marble eggs. You can read how to make them here How To Make Marbled Eggs
Super easy when you break it down to just 3 sections of basic items. Just think outside the box with layers, textures and unexpected items. You can see more table scape ideas here How To Create A Beautiful Easter Table and here Easter Table Inspiration & Ideas Part 2
Have a wonderful Spring season and enjoy the new beginnings and change of color and light!
